My first addition to this blog ^_^ I'm not sure what I'll put here (if anything). Maybe some inane ramblings about whatever I'm playing, reading or watching at the moment. Entirely possible that I'll use it for self-study notes too. I'm finding it difficult to wrap my head around the basics of quantum computing without making up vaguely suitable phyiscal metaphors in my head for how qubits function. Perhaps I'll get it one day. Or not... Who knows!! I might end up not caring in a year...
Interestingly, my interests always waver the second I begin to understand something. The less I understand about anything, the more I care about it. Even in a media context. Very rarely do I get so into something that I can be considered a "mega-fan" or an otaku of any kind because I lack the knowledge that a mega-fan would have. The second I start understanding any more than the basics, I immediately lose interest and go looking for the next unknown. I don't know if this is a good or a bad trait of mine. A thirst for knowledge is always a positive in any facet of life, but I think it's very silly of me to stop caring about things after I expand my knowledge. There are certain things that have lived with me for life such as interests in general STEM fields (mostly computing and physics), but I seem to have this passing interest in all human knowledge until I gain it ^_,^
